PASADENA, Calif. – Annandale Golf Club has officially begun construction on a comprehensive renovation-restoration of its historic golf course, with completion of construction anticipated in spring 2026. The restoration, inspired by the timeless design work of William P. Bell from the 1920s, will honor the club’s architectural heritage while enhancing playability, sustainability, and beauty for future generations.
Originally founded in 1906, Annandale Golf Club holds a revered place in California golf history as one of the state’s earliest private clubs. The current routing, extended up into the far-reaching canyons beneath the San Gabriel Mountains in 1924, was crafted from the original design of William Watson by the legendary William P. Bell. Bell’s routing and strategic artistry established Annandale as a benchmark for Southern California golf. Over the decades, the course has evolved, yet Bell’s spirit will now continue to define its character.
