Todd Eckenrode – Origins Golf Design is proud to have completed the first year of a two-year bunker restoration project at Pauma Valley CC, restoring the greenside bunkers to their original design.  Pauma Valley is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design, opened in 1960.  Origins’ utilized a 1962 aerial photo of the course to restore the bunkering to its original scale and outlines, which brought back a detailing that had been lost after decades of evolution.  The Club is proud to have their RTJ Sr. aesthetic restored, and we look forward to completing the fairway bunkering in the near future.  We are also underway on a Long Range Master Plan to help guide the Club architecturally for many years to come.
